​Introduction

This policy outlines the procedures for terminating a membership with Anime Trendz due to non-compliance with membership terms, violations of the Code of Conduct, or other specified reasons.

Grounds for Termination

Non-Payment of Dues: Failure to pay membership fees within the renewal period of the due date.
Code of Conduct Violations: Engaging in behavior that violates the organization's established Code of Conduct, including but not limited to:

Harassment or discrimination
Unethical conduct
Disruptive behavior at events
Misrepresentation of the organization

 

Misuse of Membership Benefits: Improper use of member privileges or resources.
Fraudulent Information: Providing false or misleading information during the membership application process.
Criminal Activity: Engaging in criminal activities that reflect poorly on the organization.

Termination Process

Notice and Warning: Before initiating termination, the organization will attempt to address concerns with the member through a written warning outlining the issue and providing an opportunity to rectify the situation.
Review by Committee: A designated committee will review any potential membership termination cases, considering all relevant information and providing the member with an opportunity to be heard.
Decision to Terminate: If the committee decides to terminate membership, the member will be notified in writing, including the reasons for the termination and any applicable appeals process.

Member Resignation

 

Voluntary Termination: Members may voluntarily terminate their membership by canceling. 

Appeals Process

Appeal Request: A member may appeal a termination decision by submitting a written request to the organization within [ 30 days ] of receiving the termination notice.

Appeal Review: The appeal will be reviewed by a designated appeals committee, which will consider all relevant information and provide a final decision.

Effective Date of Termination

Immediate Termination: In cases of serious violations, membership may be terminated immediately, without prior notice.
Notice Period: For other termination reasons, membership will be terminated [immediately] after the member receives written notification.

 

Consequences of Termination

Loss of Membership Benefits: Upon termination, a member will forfeit all membership privileges and access to organization resources.
Non-Refundable Fees: Any non-refundable membership fees paid will not be returned upon termination.

Confidentiality

All information related to membership termination proceedings will be handled with confidentiality.
